Photo Walk, Monday 9th June 2025.
Highgate Cemetery consists of nearly forty acres of tombs, monuments and headstones with approximately 170,000 people buried in 53,000 graves. Opened in 1839, Highgate soon became the fashionable place for burials and given the Victorian attitude towards death this led to the creation of a wealth of Gothic tombs, memorials and mausoleums which make for fascinating subject matter for the photographer.
The day is designed as a relaxed walk, with plenty of time to spend shooting at your leisure with one of the countries top landscape photographers on hand for advice and help. Limited to just five participants for a small, friendly and informal day’s shoot. At the end of the day, you will be encouraged to send Jeremy your favourite five images for critique and feedback.
